Cookie policy

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves, through your browser, on your computer, phone or tablet. On later visits the browser sends it back to the website that created it, so the website can remember, for example, that you already closed a message.

A cookie is not a program: it cannot run code, carry viruses or read other files on your device. It holds only a name, a value and an expiry date. By how long they last and who sets them, cookies are:

• session cookies, deleted when you close the browser, or persistent cookies, which stay until their expiry date or until you delete them;
• first-party cookies, set by the website you are visiting, or third-party cookies, set by other companies whose services are loaded into the page.

Only first-party, strictly necessary cookies. We use no analytics or advertising cookies, load no social media buttons and do not track what you do on other websites.

On the contact page, the form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which tells people apart from programs that send automated messages. To do so, Cloudflare looks at a few technical signals, such as your IP address and browser type, which it describes as strictly necessary for that purpose; details in the Turnstile privacy addendum(opens in a new tab). Turnstile is loaded on the contact page only.

Romanian Law no. 506/2004 requires a visitor’s consent for cookies, except for those strictly necessary to provide the service they asked for (art. 4(6)(b)). Every cookie above falls under that exception, so the message on your first visit informs you rather than asking you to choose.

If we add cookies that are not strictly necessary, such as visitor statistics, we will only set them after you consent, and we will list them on this page first.

You can read the website without cookies, but the contact form will no longer send: the session cookies protect it from forged submissions. If you delete the cookie notice’s cookie, you will see the notice again on your next visit.

The list of cookies changes along with the website. When a new feature saves something in your browser, we add it here before it goes live, and the date at the top of the page shows the latest update.
